Housing Officer Role

This is a leadership position focused on overseeing the management and delivery of our housing services to individuals who need additional support due to various circumstances, such as learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism and other cognitive impairment to manage their tenancy. You must have a good leadership knowledge and understanding of;

As a housing officer, you will be responsible for;
  1. Signing up tenants and ensuring Compliance with Tenancy Agreements.

The office of a Repair Adviser entails working with both tenants and housing management team concerning repairs and maintenance issues. This role is vital in ensuring that repairs are carried out in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner, with special consideration for the needs of vulnerable tenants. A Repair Adviser acts as a bridge between tenants, housing officers, and maintenance teams, ensuring that repair processes meet the safety, comfort, and well-being needs of the residents.
Our Repair Adviser will deals with both routine and emergency repairs, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards, and providing advice on how to manage and prevent damage to properties.
 
Responsibilities include;
  1. Providing Advice and Guidance to Tenants.
  2. Liaising Between Tenants and Maintenance Teams (Scheduling Repairs).
  3. Managing Repair Process (Repair Coordination and Quality Assurance).

Referral / Customer Service

Referral / Customer Service Role
This role is the first point of contact to our new tenants, you will be responsible for receiving prospective tenant from our relevant partners such as social workers, care providers, appointees, NHS, local authorities, etc. your task will mandate you to screen housing benefit documents to confirm affordability and eligibility of our new tenant. Continuous working with the housing service team to deliver and effective customer care services to our special tenants.
 
Role requirements;
  1. Initial Client Contact and Assessment.
  2. Matching prospective tenant to Appropriate Housing.
  3. Managing Communication and Queries from our tenants.

An Account Manager's primary responsibility will be, to manage account officers role and also relationships with clients (tenants, local authorities, contractors, or funding bodies), ensure the efficient delivery of services, and oversee financial performance.
